24 patients currently being treated in Milton Keynes Hospital for coronavirus according to latest data

The latest update tells us that 24 patients are being treated for COVID-19 at Milton Keynes University Hospital, with none currently being treated on a ventilator bed.

The latest data, released by the government weekly, includes people admitted to MK Hospital who tested positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to their hospital admission and those who tested positive in hospital after admission.

The data, which tells us how many patients are being treated in MKUH, tells us that as of Tuesday 24th August, there are 24 patients being cared for in MK Hospital, with one being treated on a ventilator.

In comparison, this is a slight increase as there were 19 patients reported the previous week.

This comes as 139 positive tests were recorded yesterday, taking the total number of those infected in Milton Keynes to 28,219 since the start of the pandemic.

All coronavirus data is provided by the Government and NHS, no further information is provided on age, gender or vaccination status.
