Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt
We’re getting all our newborn friends together for a birthday bash to celebrate 30 years of the National Trust at Stowe from 19-22 April, 10am-4pm. Can you work out which animal brought each gift in time to claim your yummy chocolate prize? Hunts cost £3 per child, normal admission applies. Get into character for an Easter the kids will remember and wear costumes or Easter bonnets for a fun filled family day out.
Over the past ten years the egg hunt has been sponsored by Cadbury’s with the proceeds helping to restore the gardens. Without you support we wouldn’t be able to protect Stowe’s iconic gardens and monuments.
Join the nature team for ‘50 things’ activities. On 10 April there’s Plant it, grow it, eat it - have a go at planting your own vegetable seeds ready to harvest in the summer. On 17 April take on Mud glorious mud - houses, castles, cities or temples - whatever you decide to make today, make it with glorious mud and other natural materials you can find in the gardens. Both sessions are from 10.30am-12midday, £2 per child, normal admission applies and booking is essential via the website.
As the gardens emerge from their winter slumber, take the chance to drink in the sounds, sights and smells of spring at Stowe.
