Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted knifepoint robbery in Leadenhall.
At around 10.50pm on Sunday (25/4) the victim, a 34-year-old man, was walking on the redway under the V6 between Leadenhall and Bleak Hall when he was approached by three men.
One of the men told him to hand over his phone and when the victim refused, he pulled out a knife. The victim punched the man with the knife and was then hit by a second man.
The victim punched the second man as well and then all three offenders ran off in the direction of Bleak Hall Industrial Estate.
The victim sustained minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment. Nothing was stolen during the incident.
The first offender is described as a white man in his late teens, around 5ft 10ins tall and wearing a black hooded top and a black balaclava.
The second offender is described as a stocky man in his late teens, approximately 5ft 8ins tall and wearing dark clothing and a black balaclava.
The third offender is described as a man wearing a black balaclava.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Susan Russell, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed or has footage of this incident, or who has any information about these men, to come forward.
“I am also appealing for information about a silver Audi A3 with a registration starting with KN08, that may have been involved with this incident.
