Willen Hospice have announced it is taking part in the Franklins £40 Accumulator Challenge.
The challenge is being hosted by Franklins Solicitors, who have chosen £40 to tie in with the celebration of their 40th anniversary.
How does it work?
Businesses are invited to form a team with their colleagues. Willen Hospice will give each team £40 to start them off, challenging them to come up with fundraising ideas to make as much money as they can for the local charity. The team that ‘grows’ the most money wins over the eight week challenge which ends on 28th June. Although the challenge is already underway, teams are still welcome to join in and take part.
Who can enter?
Any local business that wishes to form a team, fundraise as a company, match-fund their colleagues or find their own a unique (but legal) way to increase the initial amount of £40!
Nigel Birch, Head of Marketing at Willen Hospice said “We’re thrilled to see this challenge back on the calendar for our business community to be part of. In the past, teams have excelled at coming up with great ideas – from curry nights and bake-offs to hosting yoga classes to raise funds.
It’s the perfect opportunity for companies who want to support us, to do something fun yet incredibly meaningful as part of a team. We’re looking forward to seeing who vies for top spot on the leaderboard.”
